THE ROLE
Own the path from
constraint to production.
You will combine discovery, systems thinking and hands-on engineering. The work includes understanding an operating environment, building the implementation, integrating it with existing systems and proving that it behaves as intended.
What you will do
- Work with customers to understand their current systems, constraints and the outcome they need.
- Define a practical scope, architecture and acceptance criteria for a migration, integration, modernization or AI workflow.
- Build production software across APIs, data pipelines, connectors and workflow services.
- Use AI where it helps, with deterministic checks and human review for consequential decisions.
- Write tests, investigate failures and prepare evidence that the implementation behaves as intended.
- Support deployment and handover with monitoring, recovery steps and clear technical documentation.
What you bring
- Experience building and shipping software used by other people, with examples you can discuss.
- Strong fundamentals in at least one backend language, relational data, APIs and version control.
- Ability to investigate unfamiliar code, data models and system interfaces.
- Comfort translating an ambiguous customer problem into a clear implementation plan.
- Sound judgment about security, data access, testing and production reliability.
- Clear written and spoken English and a collaborative approach to technical review.
Helpful experience
- ERP or CRM data migration, EDI, B2B integration or trading-partner workflows.
- SQL modernization, cloud data platforms, Python or TypeScript services.
- AI-assisted workflows, model evaluation, retrieval and human approval controls.
- Working directly with customers or owning an implementation through deployment.
