BEFORE WE BUILD
A few things worth knowing
before the first conversation.
Labs is for SaaS and technology teams with recurring work spread across tools: account research, support investigation or release coordination, for example. A good starting point has accessible data, a person who owns the workflow and a result we can measure. If a simpler integration would solve the problem, that belongs in the conversation too.
In 30 minutes, we discuss one workflow, the systems involved and where your team loses time. We explore whether automation is a sensible fit and what information a scoped proposal would need. You do not need a technical brief or access credentials for this conversation.
The proposal sets out the automation, integrations, approval rules, testing, deployment and operating documentation. We agree acceptance criteria and a baseline so you can judge whether the result is useful. The exact deliverables and exclusions are written into the scope before building.
We scope a project and provide a fixed proposal based on the workflow, integrations and operating requirements. Discovery identifies what needs to be understood before quoting. Model usage, hosting, third-party tools and ongoing support are clarified separately, so you can assess the full operating cost. There is no published starting price yet.
A focused implementation may take 1–4 weeks once the scope and access are ready. Complex integrations, data quality or security reviews can extend that. We agree milestones and dependencies in the proposal rather than promise a date before understanding your systems.
We agree which data the workflow can access, which providers it uses and which actions need approval. Sensitive actions and uncertain results can be routed to a person. Retention, access boundaries, logs and failure handling are scoped to your requirements; no blanket security or compliance guarantee replaces that review.
Ownership, source access, third-party licences and hosting responsibilities are agreed in the proposal. Handover includes the operating documentation defined in scope. We can discuss ongoing support or a further engagement; maintenance and new features should have an explicit scope rather than an assumed open-ended commitment.
Yes. We can agree interfaces, access, review steps and deployment requirements with your engineers and system owners. The aim is a workflow your team can understand and operate, with human responsibility kept clear.
