# Ariftly AI Workflow Evidence Map v1.0

Version 1.0, reviewed 21 October 2026.

This reusable engineering framework connects seven workflow stages—input, AI
action, validation, human oversight, exception, outcome and evidence record—to
candidate controls and inspectable evidence. It accompanies Ariftly's article
*The EU AI Act in Operational Workflows: An Evidence and Controls Checklist*.

The framework is engineering guidance, not legal advice, an EU-approved
standard, a certification, an audit finding or evidence of an Ariftly customer
deployment. The twelve-field event schema is an Ariftly proposal; it is not
prescribed by the EU AI Act. Apply the legal scope, role, category, date and
other-law gates before treating any mapped provision as applicable.

## Reproduction and use

1. Recheck the current consolidated EU AI Act and Commission implementation
   timeline before applying the map.
2. Classify the system, intended use, legal role and applicable date with
   qualified counsel.
3. Label each control as a conditional legal requirement, a suggested
   implementation or voluntary engineering assurance.
4. Replace synthetic event values with appropriately access-controlled
references. Do not copy raw prompts or personal data indiscriminately.
5. Test both a normal run and an induced failure, and confirm that the final
   downstream state can be reconstructed.

Primary references and limitations are linked in the canonical article. Dates
and legal interpretations can change; this release does not replace current
legal text or professional advice.
